About Wild Blooms Farm
My name is Nora and I started Wild Blooms Farm six years ago when I fell in love with growing flowers. I had picked up gardening again for the first time in many years and realized how much I loved working in the garden and how rejuvenating it is.
Flowers brought me so much happiness and joy and I wanted to share that with others.
Each year I learn something new. One of the main things I've learned over the years is that no matter how much I believe things aren't going to work out, they always do. Every year I have doubts about whether I'm doing things right, or that I'm too late, or there's not enough, or I second guess myself, but in the end it's always okay. The flowers come and they're beautiful and they're enough.
This year my focus is on experimenting with soil health. This will improve the quality and quantity of my blooms. As I get to know my garden better I understand the importance of diversity and all the life that lives in it and I want to sustain and support that. I am really passionate about enhancing the soil in a way that supports nature and the environment so I'm experimenting with regenerative practices, like vermiculture, composting and no-till methods.
